NASHVILLE — It has been some kind of year for Taylor Swift.
The 19-year-old star added to her magical 2009 at Wednesday night's Country Music Awards, becoming the youngest artist ever to win the coveted entertainer of the year trophy.
"I'll never forget this moment because at this moment everything that I ever wanted has just happened to me," a tearful Swift said upon accepting the honor.
Swift won all four awards for which she was nominated. She also got some more payback after Kanye West famously interrupted her at September's MTV Video Music Awards.
"I want to thank every single person here tonight for not running up on stage during this speech," Swift joked when she picked up her trophy for top female vocalist.
Swift managed to end a couple of long streaks, stopping Kenny Chesney's run of three straight entertainer of the year wins and Carrie Underwood's three-year reign in the female vocalist category.
Swift's other victories were for album of the year for Fearless and video of the year for Love Story.
Also making history was Darius Rucker, who became the second African-American to win a major individual CMA when he took home new artist of the year honors for his first country album, Learn to Live.
"Thank y'all for accepting me," the Hootie and the Blowfish frontman told the crowd. "And I think most importantly, to country radio, you took a chance on a pop singer from Charleston, S.C. Thank you so much for that."
Paisley, who led all nominees with seven, won two awards, including his third straight male vocalist of the year. He also co-hosted the ceremony at Nashville's Sommet Center with Underwood.

NASHVILLE — Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift will be among the star-packed list of performers at the 43rd Annual CMA Awards show, organizers announced Monday.
Others slated to perform include Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Reba McEntire, Darius Rucker, George Strait, Sugarland and Keith Urban.
Paisley racked up six nominations, including a nod for entertainer of the year, to lead the field of nominees for the CMA's announced last month. The 36-year-old singer was also nominated for male vocalist, album for "American Saturday Night," single and song for "Then," and music video for "Start a Band" with Keith Urban.
Swift became the first female artist to receive a nod for entertainer of the year since Faith Hill in 2000. Shania Twain was the last female artist to win the coveted honor, scoring her victory in 1999. In another first for the 19-year-old singer, she was nominated for album of the year for "Fearless."
Strait, meanwhile, now has 79 career CMA Awards nominations, tying him with Alan Jackson. He leads the trophy count with 22 during the course of his distinguished career.
Another artist looking to add to their trophy count is Underwood, who picked up two nods. The former "American Idol" star will be in search of her fourth straight female vocalist of the year title.
Rucker, who released his debut solo country album in 2008, received his first two CMA nominations for new artist and male vocalist.
This year's ceremony, which will be hosted by Paisley and Underwood, will air live from the Sommet Center in Nashville on Nov. 11 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
