NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Miranda Lambert, Kenny Chesney and Lady Antebellum headline the first batch of performers announced for the 2010 CMA Awards, organizers announced Wednesday.
Also taking the stage will be Lambert's fiancé Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley and a special pairing of the Zac Brown Band with Alan Jackson.
Lambert made history when she scored a recond nine nominations for this year's CMA Awards, the most for any female artist in the history of the event. She fell just short of breaking the CMA record of 10 established by Jackson in 2002.
Lady Antebellum garnered the second highest number of nominations with five.
The 44th annual CMA Awards, hosted for the third time by Paisley and Carrie Underwood, will air live on ABC from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Nov. 10.
