LOS ANGELES — Rihanna appears to have found a new man that meets her qualifications.
The "Hard" singer has jumped back into the dating scene with Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp, the baseball star's agent, Dave Stewart, tells People.
"They've only had a few opportunities to be together, but those times have been fun," said Stewart.
Rihanna, 21, and Kemp, 25, were introduced through friends in November and an insider tells the mag, "They really like each other." They are currently vacationing together at a luxury resort in Cabo San Lucas.
"Rihanna wants the world to know that she is happy with Matt," a source told the mag.
Last month, Rihanna admitted that her taste in men usually leans towards the bad boy, a revelation that came months after she was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend, singer Chris Brown.
"Definitely the high-risk [men]. I don't like cream puff, corny guys," she told Britain's Glamour magazine when asked what she looks for in a man. "Usually they are the nice guys, the ones that won't hurt you. They'll pull out the chair for you and the whole nine yards."
"Everything is perfect and boring...I like the risk, I like the edge," she continued. "That's the thrill for me."
As for trusting men again after the Brown incident, Rihanna said that isn't a problem in the January issue of GQ.
"I can trust," she said. "I mean, I don't like to stereotype; I believe everybody's an individual. You can't judge someone based on someone else's actions. There are people in the world who will love you and people in the world who will hurt you, and there are people in the world who will do both."
