Born May 16, 1986, Jacob Zachar landed his first acting role in 2006 when he played the part of "Ernest" in the film "Little Big Top." He then appeared as a cashier in the movie "Bodega," also in 2006.
Zachar next landed a voice role in the film "Surf's Up," before securing his first leading role in a TV series, the new ABC Family show, "Greek," which debuted on July 9, 2007. In "Greek," Zachar stars as Rusty, an academically-focused college freshman determined to have more fun in college than he did in high school.
Zachar has previously appeared on screen in the film, "Drunkboat," in which he starred alongside Dana Delany, John Malkovich and John Goodman. Additionally, Zachar has been seen in many stage productions, including "On Golden Pond," "Prairie Lights," "Big: The Musical," "Les Misérables" and "Guys and Dolls." He has also made appearances in commercials for Carl's Jr. and Dunkin' Donuts.
Raised in Chicago, Zachar is also a very accomplished musician.
