Actor George Hamilton (R) and date Barbara Strum arrive on the red carpet at the "My One and Only" movie premiere held at the Paris Theatre on August 18, 2009 in New York City.
"My One and Only" is based on the true story of Hamilton's early years, during which he accompanied his glamorous mother, Anne Hamilton Spalding, on an extended road trip across the country to track down her former boyfriends. The film opens in theaters in the United States on August 21.
