Jennifer Garner Granted Restraining Order in Alleged Stalker Case

Jennifer Garner with daughter VioletHOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jennifer Garner was granted a restraining order Thursday from a man she alleges has been stalking her since 2002.

A Los Angeles court ruled that 36-year-old Steven R. Burky must stay away from Garner, her husband Ben Affleck, and the couple's 2-year-old daughter Violet, for three years.

Garner, 36, petitioned for protection earlier this month. In a sworn statement, the former "Alias" star said that she believed Burky's "obsessive, threatening and stalking behavior" posed a threat to her and her family, AP says.
