NEW YORK — Party on! Mike Myers and Dana Carvey brought back their popular "Wayne's World" tandem on last night's SNL broadcast, hosted by Carvey.
In the skit, the duo – Wayne Campbell (Myers) and Garth Algar (Carvey) – made their picks for the upcoming Oscars, with a particular fascination for the Jennifer Lawrence drama Winter's Bone. The two also commented on James Franco and Anne Hathaway taking over as Oscar co-hosts.
"Anne hath a way of giving me a bone," remarked Garth.
It marked the first time their famous characters had appeared together since the height of their fame in the 1990s, when the duo turned their "Wayne's World" sketches on SNL into a pair of movies.
