HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams have reportedly rekindled their romance.
"They've been talking a lot," a source revealed to Us Weekly. "Their friends are quite pleased that they're getting back together and are trying to give them space."
The couple first started dating after co-starring on the 2004 feature "The Notebook," a film that netted them a Teen Choice Award for Best Kiss. In July, McAdams, 31, was on hand as Gosling, 27, make his DJ debut at Hollywood hotspot Green Door.
In an interview with GQ magazine shortly after their breakup last year, Gosling referred to McAdams as "one of the great loves of my life." He also admitted that women had become "mad" at him after the split.
"A girl came up to me on the street and she almost smacked me," he explained. "Like, 'How could you? How could you let a girl like that go?' "
Gosling told the men's magazine that he couldn't exactly pinpoint what led to the end of their relationship.
"The only thing I remember is we both went down swingin' and we called it a draw," he said.
