HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Sandra Bullock has been granted a restraining order against a man accused of stalking the actress for years.
According to the Associated Press, the order issued Friday requires Thomas James Weldon to stay away from Bullock for the next three years. The protection also covers the star's baby boy, Louis Bardo, whom she's in the process of adopting, and ex-husband Jesse James' children.
Bullock first obtained a restraining order against Weldon in 2003. The man was later sent to a Tennessee mental hospital, but allegedly tried to make contact after he was released earlier this year. He has since been committed indefinitely to a state mental hospital in Wyoming.
"It's obvious that this fixation on her has not changed despite seven years in the hospital in Tennessee," Bullock's attorney, Ed McPherson, told AP.
