Jessica Simpson Shoots Down Tony Romo Engagement Rumors

Jessica SimpsonHOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jessica Simpson is shooting down rumors that she went shopping for an engagement ring with beau Tony Romo.

"We are not engaged!" the 28-year-old star tells Entertainment Tonight.  "Tony and I have not gone to Neiman Marcus — somebody said we bought a ring there. I couldn't drag Tony in to Neiman Marcus if I tried."

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback won't be shopping for pinky rings anytime soon either, having broken his right pinkie on the first play of overtime in Sunday's 30-24 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

"We don't know how long he'll be out. It depends on how fast that heals," Cowboys coach Wade Phillips tells ESPN. "I'd say week to week, depending on quickly he heals. Different people heal differently."

At most, the 28-year-old Romo could be sidelined for four weeks.
