LOS ANGELES — For the second time in less than a week, Warner Bros. has canceled an overseas premiere of The Blind Side.
The studio announced Monday that the hit movie's Berlin premiere will not be held. The news comes just days after the film's star, Sandra Bullock, abruptly pulled out of the London premiere amid reports that her husband, Jesse James, cheated on her with a tattoo model.
San Diego-based Michelle "Bombshell" McGee claims she carried on a months-long affair with James, but said she was unaware that the Monster Garage star was taken.
"I would never have hooked up with him if I thought he was a married man," she told In Touch Weekly magazine. "He gave me the impression they were separated."
On Thursday, James stopped short of confirming the infidelity rumors surrounding him when he issued a public apology to Bullock and his three children.
"The vast majority of the allegations reported are untrue and unfounded. Beyond that, I will not dignify these private matters with any further public comment," he said in a statement to People. "There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It's because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way.
"This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me."
Bullock, who has reportedly left the couple's Southern California home, has not been seen since the affair allegations first surfaced.
The affair scandal arrived less than two weeks after she picked up her Best Actress Academy Award for The Blind Side, an honor that moved James to tears at the Kodak Theatre ceremony.
