Nicole Scherzinger and Boyfriend Lewis Hamilton Break Up

The Pussycat Dolls singer and her boyfriend, race car driver Lewis Hamilton, have split after two years of dating.

"Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton can confirm that they have decided to go their separate ways," the former lovers said in a joint statement to the BBC.

"[We] have decided to focus fully on their careers and will remain close friends," they added of the breakup.

Scherzinger, 31, and Hamilton, 25, began dating after meeting at the MTV Europe Awards in Munich in November 2007.
