HOLLYWOOOD, Calif. — After months of denying a romance, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian have finally taken their relationship public.
The couple hit the golf links together on Thursday, playing a round at the Valencia Country Club in Valencia, Calif., located just north of Los Angeles.
"They arrived separately, but gave each other a big hug when they first showed up," said one eyewitness at the course.
Cibrian, 36, chaffeured Rimes, 26, around the country club as the pair sipped on drinks to cool themselves from the hot sun.
"They looked really happy each other," said one fellow golfer. "They were laughing quite a bit."
The couple's first public outing comes after Us Weekly first reported that an affair was brewing in March. Cibrian and Rimes became close while working together on the Lifetime movie, "Northern Lights," however they were both married up until recently. In July, Cibrian's wife, Brandi Glanville, revealed that she was leaving her husband after the alleged rendevous.
"Eddie and I have decided to take some time apart," the 36-year-old model told the mag. "I want to do what is best for our children. Eddie and LeAnn deserve each other."
A few days, later, word came down that Rimes was also now separated from her husband, Dean Sheremet.
Cibrian and Glanville married in 2001 and have two sons together, Mason, 6, and Jake, 2.
Rimes and Sheremet, meanwhile, tied the knot in 2002. The ex-lovers do not have any children.
