NEW YORK — Shooter Jennings and Drea de Matteo are heading for the altar after a rockin' proposal.
The longtime couple got engaged Thursday night when the musician summoned the actress on stage and proposed during a concert in Utica, N.Y.
"She had no idea," a source told Us Weekly. "She was with their daughter; her parents were in the audience. She was totally surprised but overjoyed. It's been a long time coming. They have a beautiful love story. They are both thrilled."
Jennings, 30, and de Matteo, 37, have been dating since 2001. They welcomed their daughter, Alabama Gypsyrose, in late 2007.
Following his proposal, Jennings shared the news with his fans on Tweeter.
"Asked drea to marry me on stage tonight. I'm a lucky man," wrote the the son of late country legend Waylon Jennings. "I'll never forget Utica, Ny. Hands off m------------ she said yes but she's mad."
