Jessica Simpson Attacking Veggie Carrie Underwood with T-Shirt?

Simpson, 27, recently was spotted wearing a T-shirt which read, "Real Girls Eat Meat," as she ventured out with on-again, off-again beau Tony Romo.

The 28-year-old Dallas Cowboys quarterback previously dated Underwood, a well-known veggie who was named PETA's Sexiest Vegetarian in 2005.

Whether or not Simpson's attire was aimed at the "American Idol" winner is anyone's guess, but PETA was quick to rush to Underwood's defense.

"Jessica Simpson's meaty wardrobe malfunction makes us thankful that no one is looking to her for food advice. Chicken-of-the-Sea, anyone?" a PETA rep told Usmagazine.com. "The woman who thought that Buffalo 'Wings' came from buffalos would benefit from some good veggie brain food."

"We're rushing Jessica one of our Vegetarian Starter Kits," the rep added.
