NEW YORK – Denise Richards is refusing to shed light on what happened to ex Charlie Sheen, who police reportedly found drunk and naked at a New York hotel early Tuesday morning.
Speaking on The Joy Behar Show hours after the incident, Richards said she wanted to keep the matter private in order to protect the couple's two young daughters, Sam, 6, and Lola, 5.
"We're in an amazing place, we've been getting along great for the last year, year-and-a-half," she explained of her relationship with Sheen. "We're doing our best, so as far as that situation, I'm trying to protect the girls from it as much as possible."
Richards and Sheen have come a long way since their nasty 2006 divorce. The actress said she still has "a lot of faith" in her ex despite his apparent addiction troubles.
"It's all about our kids" she said. "I'm grateful that we're in a good place with each other."
