NEW YORK — Sean "Diddy" Combs is partying for a good cause.
The music and fashion mogul will host a "pink party" at Long Island's GLO Nightclub on Thursday. Patrons are asked to wear a splash of pink to the event.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit 1 in 9: The Long Island Breast Cancer Coalition and the LIPSG Foundation.
Earlier today, Diddy-Dirty Money finally announced a release date for their upcoming Last Train to Paris album. The group – comprised of Diddy, Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper – will drop their debut release on Dec. 14.
"There's definitely nerves," Diddy recently told British music magazine NME about the album. "It's nerve-wracking because there's more singing for me. You have a new concept, and it took people a while to buy into it."
"I think a lot of times people forget how many hits I've had," he added. "I take pride in having hit records that still play in clubs now. I take people on a musical journey, and when we bring that up to date it just gets even more intense."
