HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Rod Stewart and his third wife, English model Penny Lancaster, have another baby on their mind.
"We're trying – we actually tried last night!" the father of seven told the British talk show GMTV of the couple's plans to have another baby. "One more and then we're going to close the office."
Stewart, 64, and Lancaster, 38, who married in June 2007, welcomed their first child together, son Alastair Wallace in 2005.
"He's just a sweet kid at the moment," Stewart said of his youngest son, who turns 4 on Nov. 27. "I did take him out on the football field the other day. He put all his Celtic stuff on, I said, 'Come on, let's get running out there,' and he went, 'Oh, there's some flowers for mummy – must collect them.'
"He spent about two hours collecting flowers in a basket for his mum!"
Stewart's latest studio album, Soulbook, which features appearances by Smokey Robinson, Mary J. Blige and Jennifer Hudson, was released in October.
