HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Renée Zellweger is about to have the munchies again.
The 40-year-old actress will return as the full-figured Bridget Jones in a third installment of the hit movie series, Variety reports.
The new installment is expected to focus on the now 40-ish Bridget's desire to have a baby before time runs out, as based on author Helen Fielding's weekly newspaper columns for Britain's The Independent, said the trade publication.
Shooting on the still-untitled third film is expected to begin at the end of the year.
Zellweger first starred as the British publishing exec struggling to find love in 2001's "Bridget Jones's Diary," a film based on a 1996 book of the same name. The role earned Zellweger her first Academy Award nomination for best actress.
She later reprised the role in the 2004 sequel, "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason."
