HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Megan Fox is packing her passport for some action across the border.
The 22-year-old actress has inked her latest movie deal, signing on to star in "The Crossing," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film revolves around a couple who gets carjacked while returning from a Mexican vacation. Fox will star as a wife who smuggles heroin across the border in order to save her husband, who is kidnapped during the carjacking.
Fox has been busy filling her calendar of late. She recently signed on for her first dramatic role, in which she'll star opposite Oscar nominee Mickey Rourke in "Passion Plays."
Other projects in the works for Fox include the Western "Jonah Hex" and the comic-book adaption "Fathom."
The young star next graces the big screen in "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," which arrives in theaters this summer.
