HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Levi Johnston is bringing his war with the Palin family to the courtroom.
The 19-year-old Johnston plans to seek joint custody of his 10-month-old son, Tripp, with former fiancee Bristol Palin, according to The Insider.
Johnston said his decision came about after the Palins made it difficult for him to see his son over the weekend. He said he plans to pursue legal action by the end of the month.
"Not working. I'm done," he said. "It's going to have to go to court. They just finally pushed me over the edge."
Last month, Johnston exchanged unpleasantries in the media with his son's grandmother, Sarah Palin. During an appearance on CBS's The Early Show, Johnston claimed that the former Alaska governor had referred to her own infant son, who has Down syndrome, as "retarded." She responded by denying the accusation and lambasting his upcoming nude pictorial in Playgirl.
