Leighton Meester Named Face of New Vera Wang Fragrance

Leighton Meester, Vera Wang, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, new, 2010NEW YORK — Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester has signed on as the face of Vera Wang's new fragrance, the designer announced Friday.

"I am so thrilled to have Leighton as the face of our new fragrance," Wang said in a statement. "Her beauty, talent, and spirit will inspire all the young women that I hope will enjoy this passionate, young fragrance."

The ad campaign will be shot by famed photographer Carter Smith in New York City this weekend, with the fragrance due to hit stores in summer 2011.

This is the second large sponsorship deal struck by Meester this year. In April, she was named the new global hair ambassador for Herbal Essences.
