Jill Scott and Fiance Lil John Roberts Welcome Baby Boy

Jill Scott, pictures, picture, photos, photo, images, images, pics, pic, hot, sexy, new, baby, son, Jett Hamilton Roberts, Lil John RobertsHOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Grammy winner Jill Scott is now a mother!

The 37-year-old R&B star gave birth to a baby boy Monday afternoon, her managed confirmed Tuesday to People.

Jett Hamilton Roberts weighed in at 7 lbs., 8 oz., the magazine said.

The new arrival is the first child for Scott and her fiancé, drummer Lil John Roberts.

It's the most amazing thing that's ever happened to me," she told the mag of her son's birth.

Scott is currently starring on the HBO series "The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency." The crossover star also made her feature film debut in Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married?" in 2007.
