HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jane Fonda is feeling like a "glamorous grandma" after her latest plastic surgery procedure.
The 72-year-old icon went under the knife two weeks ago to freshen up her face. In her blog, Fonda said she had "the bags taken away" from underneath her eyes, in addition to work done on her chin and neck.
"I swore in 2000 I'd never have anything done again but this year I got tired of not looking like how I feel and I wanted a more refined chin line like I used to have so I changed my mind," wrote Fonda. "I'm still a little swollen but not much and what pleases me is that I won't look pulled or weird...or tired all the time. And my crows feet are still alive and well."
"I wish I'd been brave enough to not do anything but, instead, I chose to be a somewhat more glamorous grandma," she added.
Fonda stepped out last weekend for June Newton's Valentine's Day party at the Chateau Marmont, which gave her an opportunity to test her method for disguising plastic surgery work.
Joked Fonda: "I decided it would be good to get a new hair cut so people [would] think it's my new hair."
