HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Hugh Jackman says he felt "heartbroken" after discovering his latest "X-Men" movie had been leaked onto the Web.
"It's a serious crime, and there's no doubt it's very disappointing — I was heartbroken by it," the 40-year-old actor told reporters at a Sydney screening of "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."
Jackman said watching the unfinished version get posted online last week is disheartening for everyone involved in the highly-anticipated film, which arrives in theaters May 1.
"Obviously people are seeing an unfinished film," he said. "It's like a Ferrari without a paint job."
While the incident left him disheartened, Jackman said he's thankful that most condemned the leak and he's hopeful justice will eventually be served.
"The FBI are onto it, and they're taking it very, very seriously," he said.
