'Hairspray' Star Nikki Blonsky and Model Bianca Golden Arrested in Airport Fight

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — "Hairspray" star Nikki Blonsky was arrested Wednesday after getting involved in a brawl with "America's Next Top Model" star Bianca Golden at Providenciales International Airport in Turks and Caicos.

According to TMZ, the fight broke out when Blonsky was attempting to hold onto several seats in the airport lounge and Golden and her family wanted to sit. The exchange quickly escalated into what is described as an all-out family brawl, with one member of the Golden family actually "biting" Blonsky's foot, a source tells TMZ.

Blonsky and Golden, both 19, were arrested on charges of assault following the melee.

Also arrested was Blonsky's father, who faces charges of inflicting bodily harm for his alleged attack of Golden's mother.

According to Us Weekly, which first reported the arrests, the model's mother, Elaine, suffered injuries so severe she needed to be transported to Miami for treatment.

Outfitted in a neck brace, Blonsky made a court appearance on Friday. She is due back for another hearing later this month, according to Us.

Blonsky's rep has yet to comment on the reported arrest.
