HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — George Lopez says he dropped by Sandra Bullock's home over the weekend to show support for his close friend in the wake of her husband's alleged infidelity.
"I went to her house the other day after the Kids' Choice Awards and saw her and sat with her for a few minutes," Lopez told People magazine Thursday at the unveiling of his wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hollywood. "She's great. We love her. We all love her."
Bullock's marriage was rocked last month after Michelle "Bombshell" McGee claimed she carried on an 11-month-long affair with the star's spouse, Jesse James. Three more women, including Melissa Smith and Bridgitte Daguerre, have also claimed affairs with James since McGee's allegations.
Bullock has reportedly left James and moved back to her pre-marital home in the Hollywood Hills. On Wednesday, her estranged husband checked into a treatment facility "to deal with personal issues."
Lopez said he is confident Bullock will persevere through this challenging time.
"She is an amazing person," he said.
