HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Eminem will perform at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, organizers announced Monday.
The 37-year-old rapper led all male artists with eight VMA nominations, including best male video and video of the year for "Not Afraid." He joins previously announced performers Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Drake, B.o.B and Florence + The Machine.
Eminem made headlines earlier this month when he lashed out at the timing of next month's VMA ceremony.
"Apparently MTV doesn't care that I have two massive stadium shows on the other side of the country the day after the VMA's. F me, right?!?!," he said. "I mean, I'll be there but don't expect me to be nice about it."
Ke$ha, Nicki Minaj, Emma Stone, Penn Badgley, Trey Songz, Ashley Greene, Selena Gomez and Ne-Yo are confirmed as presenters for the ceremony, which will be hosted by comedienne Chelsea Handler.
The MTV Video Music Awards will air live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Sept. 12 at 9 p.m. ET.
