NEW YORK — An initial autopsy of DJ AM's body on Saturday has proved inconclusive.
The New York City Medical Examiner's office tells the Associated Press that further tests are necessary to determine the official cause of death for DJ AM, who died Friday at the age of 36. Those toxicology tests will likely take several weeks to complete.
A law enforcement official speaking on condition of anonymity told AP that cops found a crack pipe and prescription pills in the New York City apartment where DJ AM's body was discovered.
An investigation into the celebrity disc jockey's death is ongoing.
