HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Cameron Diaz says she's enjoying her freedom as a single girl these days.
"It's been nice not having a boyfriend for the past year," the 35-year-old actress admits in the latest issue of British GQ. "In fact, it's the first time I haven't had one in 10 years, and I'm enjoying what I'm getting out of this moment.
"I could be in a relationship if I wanted to be, but I haven't finished doing what I'm doing," she added.
Since splitting with superstar Justin Timberlake last year, Diaz has been linked to both singer John Mayer and magician Chris Angel. The actress confesses she isn't the easiest person to date.
"I'm a lot of woman — in a lot of ways," Diaz says. "And I understand that can be intimidating."
However, if her potential suitors can get past that initial hurdle, the "Charlie's Angels" star says she has plenty to offer.
"When I'm in a relationship I'm very loyal and committed," she says. "I give a lot."
As for what makes her tick, Diaz says love has been in her blood for as long as she can remember.
"I like boys — a lot. I'm boy crazy," she says. "That hasn't changed since I was very young."
