HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore survived a scare Thursday afternoon when their private plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Las Vegas after the engine apparently overheated.
"My plane just had to do an emergency landing. Engine over heated. Fire engines everywhere good times." Kutcher wrote on Twitter shortly after the incident.
"Yep it is always an adventure in Vegas emergency landing and all," Tweeted Moore.
Kutcher and Moore were en route to New York when the emergency landing took place. The couple had attended the premiere of Kutcher's new film, "Spread," at the Palms Hotel and Casino on Wednesday night.
The Hollywood duo eventually caught another flight a few hours later.
"Taking off—take two!" Tweeted Moore, whose husband was already looking forward to his eventual landing across the coast.
"Happy to be alive," he wrote. "Let's celebrate. Party tonight at Turtle Bay Bar in NYC. Say 'Spread' at the door for 1/2 off drinks! on me!"
