These days, Morton is working with photographer Guy Huffman as she continues to build her portfolio and gain more exposure. While she has always lived in a small town, Morton hopes to work for a major agency in either New York or Los Angeles one day soon.
"My goal in life is to be a Victoria's Secret model," Morton says of her aspirations. "That would probably make me more excited than anything. That's something that I really look up to."
Morton says that she is not concerned about moving to a big city despite her small-town upbringing.
"Honestly, I really want the challenge of that," insists Morton. "I want the challenge of people doubting me and saying that I'm from a small town and that I can't handle it. I want to prove that I can hang with the best of them."
Her strength, she says, comes from the values that her mom has instilled in her over the years.
"She tells me that if modeling is something that I really want to do, I need to follow my dreams," Morton explains. "She says that if you really want to do something, you have to put 110 percent into it. You have to go at it full force and try to follow your dreams no matter how many times you want to give up and feel like you can't go on anymore."
Becoming a successful model, Morton says, would go a long way towards being able to repay her mom for all the support she has received over the years.
"It would make me really happy to see my family not have to struggle," says Morton. "I would just like to repay my mom for all those times that I didn't have anyone, and let her have anything that she wants. That way she'll never have to worry about anything again."
