NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Miranda Lambert scored a leading seven nominations, including her first nod for Entertainer of the Year, to lead the field of contenders for the 2011 Academy of Country Music Awards, organizers announced Tuesday.
Lambert, 27, will also defend her Top Female Vocalist win from a year ago. In addition, she's up for Single of the Year and Song of the Year for "The House That Built Me," among other nominations.
Kenny Chesney was nominated for five awards, including Album of the Year for Hemingway's Whiskey and Single Record of the Year for "The Boys of Fall." He is also nominated for Video of the Year for "The Boys of Fall."
The Zac Brown Band also received five nominations, including Top Vocal Group and Album of the Year.
Taylor Swift and The Band Perry followed just behind with four nominations each.
The 46th Annual ACM Awards will air live on CBS from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on April 3.
