LOS ANGELES – Jennifer Lopez is "rising above" her marriage split.
The 'On the Floor' singer's fellow 'American Idol' judge Randy Jackson insists her separation from husband Marc Anthony in July, after seven years together, is not getting in the way of her career.
Ahead of her performance at the iHeartRadio music festival in Las Vegas at the weekend he told People: "We've been doing auditions and she's rising above.
"She's strong, she's a trooper, she's a great girl. She's amazing."
During her set on Saturday night, Jennifer gave an energetic performance, urging the crowd to go crazy for her.
She said from the stage: "I don't want to see anyone trying to act cool around here. I want to see you dancing and jumping and singing and acting like a fool."
Three times married Jennifer has previously admitted splitting from Marc - with whom she has three-year-old twins Max and Emme - was the "hardest decision" she has ever made, but remains optimistic for the future.
She said: "Sometimes it doesn't work - and that's sad. But I remain an eternal optimist about love. I believe in love. It's still my biggest dream."
The 42-year-old star also recently re-signed to judge 'American Idol' when it returns to screen later this year for a reported $20 million.
