DIAMONDHEAD, Miss. — Brandi Favre, the sister of NFL legend Brett Favre, was arrested Wednesday after police in Mississippi discovered a meth lab in the town of Diamondhead.
Brandi Favre, 34, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and generation of hazardous waste, both felonies, a police sergeant told the Sun Herald newspaper.
The quarterback's sister was among three people arrested when undercover agents raided a condo after buying meth from two suspects at a nearby gas station off Interstate 10. The meth was found cooking in the bathtub during a search of the home, police said.
All five involved were taken to the Hancock County Barn for decontamination and then charged. They were due in court Thursday.
According to TMZ, Brandi Favre has a history of trouble with the law, including prior arrests for shoplifting and unlawful use of a weapon.
